Pet Day

Fed? Walked? Everyone already knows.

Pet Day is an iPhone app that shows everyone who cares for a pet what has been done today and what is still due. Nobody forgets, nobody feeds twice, and it works just as well when you are the only one.

The Pet Day Today screen, with all tasks done, dinner next at 18:00, four tiles for feeding, walks, poop and baths, and today's log

Features

What it does

Open it and see what is left today

Feeding, walks, poop and baths each get a tile showing how long ago the last one was and when the next is due. When something is late, the top of the screen says so. One tap logs it, and you can undo a slip.

No second dinner

If another member has just fed, Pet Day tells you who and when before it logs anything. It only records a second meal once you confirm it really was one.

Say "I've got it"

Claim a task and pick when you plan to do it. You get one reminder before that time. Other members can see it is taken, so they do not do it twice and stop getting reminders for it.

A timer for walks

Start it on the way out. The Lock Screen and Dynamic Island show how long you have been gone, and other members can see the walk is under way. No signal on the route is fine, it syncs when you are back online. Location and routes are never recorded.

How many days of food are left

Keep track of food, medicine and supplies. Each logged meal takes its portion off the stock, and you get a reminder when something is running low or about to expire. Add items by scanning a barcode or photographing the pack.

Hand over to a sitter

Going away for a few days? Send an invite link to a boarding place or a friend. Choose which pets they can see, what they can do and the day their access ends. It expires on its own.

See it without opening the app

Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets show the one thing that needs doing now. The small widget has a button to log it on the spot.

Vaccines, deworming and weight

Vaccines and deworming follow a schedule and show up on Today when they are due or overdue. Log each weigh-in and see whether the number is going up or down.

Photos and stickers

Photos taken while logging go into an album you can browse by month. Pick a photo of your pet and the app cuts it out into a sticker, on your phone, to use as its avatar.

Works offline

Log as usual without a connection. Everything syncs to the other members once you are back online.

Why

Built this way on purpose

Whoever helps is a member

People you live with, a boarding place, a friend who drops by. Add any of them. If it is only you, Pet Day is your log and your alarm.

Reminders only for those who need them

Once someone has done a task or claimed it, the other members stop being reminded. During your quiet hours, reminders arrive silently.

Stored on our server, visible only to members

Members need to stay in sync, so records and photos are stored on our server, hosted on Cloudflare. Only the members you invite can see them, within the permissions you set. We do not sell your data, show ads or train models on it.

Your records stay yours

An admin can export every record as one file, and you can delete your account inside the app.

Notes

Made for the small things you do every day

"Did anyone feed the dog?" is the question Pet Day answers. It puts today's care where every member can see it: what has been done and what is still due. It is a logging and reminder tool and does not give veterinary advice.

Privacy and terms

The Pet Day Privacy Policy explains what it collects, where it is stored, and how you can see and delete it.

The rules for using it are in the Pet Day Terms of Use.
